DIY: MMM x Converse

What do you need?
Sneakers: Primark, 7euro's
White paint: Cheap hobby store, Action here in holland, 1,50euro's
Paintbrush
Sandpaper
Modpodge, Pipoos, 6,95euro's

Step 1: Get the laces out of your sneakers and make sure the shoes are clean
Step 2: Paint them white. This doesn't have to be neat. Let them dry for an hour and then get another thick layer on again
Step 3: After about another hour you can sand them a little to see little cracks already, if you like
Step 4: Put a layer of modpodge on the shoes so the paint won't fade if it rains, but the cracks will still happen.

I got this DIY from www.higorgeous.nl.

So this is one hell of a DIY I totally love! When Maison Martin Margiela got together with Converse, the signature white sneakers were born. The sneakers are 'dipped' into paint completely from sole to laces, so when you wear them they will crack up and get a natural 'craquelé' effect and you can see the original shoe color coming trough the white paint. I love it!! Anyway, I stumbled on a really easy & cheap DIY for this one so you can be very fashionable for a good price again!;-)
